Sheepskin MD. Spots - Naturally Tanned, Regeneratively Raised in Vermont

$269.00

THIS SHEEPSKIN: This sheepskin comes from a Katahdin, a hair breed of sheep. Unlike wool breeds, whose fibers curl and crimp, Katahdins grow straight, soft hair — giving the sheepskin a distinctly sleek, smooth texture. This sheepskin is mostly white with a few delightful black spots.

MEASUREMENTS: 38” long x 25” wide

NOTE: *Note there is a small hole on the back side, on the bottom left. This does not affect the appearance of the sheepskin on the front side.

ORIGIN: Our sheepskins are tanned by hand at the Vermont Natural Tannery in Manchester, VT, where their dedicated team crafts each hide with care. We raise our sheep within a holistically managed grazing program where their movement through the landscape catalyzes and strengthens the biodiversity and environmental resilience around them.
