Sheepskin MD. Cream/Spots - Naturally Tanned, Regeneratively Raised in Vermont

$329.00

THIS SHEEPSKIN: This sheepskin comes from a Katahdin, a hair breed of sheep. Unlike wool breeds, whose fibers curl and crimp, Katahdins grow straight, soft hair — giving the sheepskin a distinctly sleek, soft texture. This sheepskin is a mostly creamy color with light browns speckles.

MEASUREMENTS: 37” long x 26” wide

NOTE: *Note there are several tiny holes on the back of the sheepskin. They are not visible on front side of skin and does not affect its durability.

ORIGIN: Our sheepskins are tanned by hand at the Vermont Natural Tannery in Manchester, VT, where their dedicated team crafts each hide with care. We raise our sheep within a holistically managed grazing program where their movement through the landscape catalyzes and strengthens the biodiversity and environmental resilience around them.
